Die Cutter Operator

The Die Cutter Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a printing machine to produce label rolls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Inspect and examine printed products for accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
Reposition printing plates, adjust pressure rolls, or otherwise adjust machines to improve quality, using knobs, hand wheels, or hand tools.
Set and adjust speed, temperature, and positions and pressure tolerances of equipment.
Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock specifications.
Select and install printing plates, rollers, feed guides, gauges, screens, stencils, dies, and cylinders in machines according to specifications, using hand tools.
Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary.
Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
Clean and lubricate printing machines and components, using oil, solvents, brushes, rags, and hoses.
Measure screens and use measurements to center and align screens in proper positions and sequences on machines, using gauges and hand tools.
Monitor and control operation of auxiliary equipment to assemble and finish products.
Pack and label cartons, boxes, or bins of finished products.

Flexo Prepress Computer Operator

Work with state of the art equipment in the preparation of files for Flexo proofing and printing. High degree of proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required. Prinergy Workflow experience a plus. This is a production job (NOT a design or creative job).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
General understanding of Flexo printing to insure that proper prepress requirements are applied to files.
General use of email software for communication purposes.
Able to conduct communications and interactions in a professional manner.
Able to follow all company rules, requirements and procedures listed in the handbook and/or otherwise communicated and documented.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prinergy workflow experience highly desired.
Competent knowledge of pre-production materials including film, foils and proofing material.
Understanding of current Pre-Press and Print Industry standards and expectations, including proofing and quality control.
Minimally possess an intermediate knowledge of Mac and applied software and fundamental knowledge of ripping and trapping of files.
Recognized productivity against flexible schedules and accelerated timelines.
Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Competent organizational and file management skills with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects with a keen attention to detail.
Good communication, organizational and time management skills.
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and have a strong sense of urgency.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Works under limited supervision while exercising independent judgment.
Ability to work additional hours (overtime) as required.
High degree of proficiency in: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign Equipment/Software, Education and Experience:

We are seeking a ROLL CLAMP DRIVER

Preferred 1 year experience driving Roll Clamp truck but will provide on site training for fast pace environment
Hours consist of 6am to 5pm Monday through Friday and every other Saturday is required
Job Responsibilities
• Receiving (scanning) inventory into system
• Keeping machines supplied with paper rolls
• Assist in monthly inventory
• Keeping area clean and organized
• Unloading and stacking incoming stock

Over time is available and sometimes required, any time worked after 40 hours will be paid at time and a half
